For creating this table was used a solid oak slab and a unique Japanese technique to preserve by burning wood - Shou Sugi Ban. This wood firing technique makes the tabletop resistant to moisture. Fire gives the wood a unique palette of black color and emphasizes the structure of the oak. The tabletop is massive due to the 8 cm slab thickness.
To support the tabletop, we used hairpin legs, which give the coffee table lightness and weightlessness.

The table will be a great addition to interior designs as loft, modern, Scandinavian, classic, art deco, industrial, contemporary.
